CSD11 was the Commission's first global meeting devoted to sustainable development since the World Summit on Sustainable development held in Johannesburg in August and September 2002. This session had a crucial role to play in providing sound political direction to the implementation of the Johannesburg outcomes and Agenda 21 and to the next phase of the Commission's work.
This section provides a day-to-day look at the CSD meeting's activities.
